Reminiscing on one of the most amazing evenings we’ve ever hosted at the ranch, our Farm to Table Dinner Party! The entire evening was filled with moments I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.

Behind every one of my wild ideas is the most amazing husband who somehow always sees the vision, rolls with the crazy, and helps bring it all to life.

Thank you for believing in my dreams, even when they sound a little wild or sound a lot like hours of work. Thank you for building this life with me, for saying “let’s figure it out” instead of “that’s impossible,” and for being willing to take this journey together.

One crazy idea, one project, one adventure at a time.

My favorite part of last night wasn’t just the mea

My favorite part of last night wasn’t just the meal, it was everything that went into creating it.

Growing the food, preparing it together with family, and then gathering around the table to share it with friends, new and old.

The first course was our garden smorgasbord. It served as a bountiful centerpiece and a build-your-own salad featuring the garden in all its forms. Fresh, pickled, and roasted vegetables, with plenty of color, texture, and flavor to mix and match. A little bit of everything, straight from the garden and onto the table. This course did not disappoint!

Getting to share it with others!

There’s something really special about taking an idea, bringing it to life, and then watching it become something that can be enjoyed, experienced, and shared with other people.

Creating is exciting. But sharing it with you is what makes it meaningful.

And we’re just getting started.

Today was all about gathering the best of what the

Today was all about gathering the best of what the garden has to offer. Today we began harvesting in preparation for our Field to Fork Dinner Party this coming Saturday! We will be using carrots two different ways, in a salad and in carrot cake. The carrot cake is my mom’s recipe. My sister and I are excited to share it with everyone who will be joining us for dinner!

We had a few extra helpers in the garden today. My nephew asked if I get to do this every day as he helped pick and complete the first wash of the remaining beets. This question was a good reminder that I GET to do this. This time of year can be extra busy and sometimes I’m a little frustrated with the ambitious spring version of myself!

The garden is thriving, the kitchen is busy, and fall is showing off. We can’t wait to share an evening that celebrates a successful growing season and the incredible food that comes from months of care.
