Piglets! We are hoping to have adorable Kunekune

Piglets!

We are hoping to have adorable Kunekune piglets on the ground at our Homesteading Academy July 11, 2026!

These gentle pasture pigs have been a great addition to our operation. They don’t root like longer snouted pigs, making them easier on the pastures and maintaining clean pens. During the summer we free range them on grass. They are a slower growing pigs compared to market hogs, but their marbled red meat is worth it! Their docile personalities make them great pigs to raise children around. Plus, they come in a variety of fun colors!

Fingers crossed will have several of these little cuties available for snuggles come July 11!

There’s something so special about stepping outside, snipping a few blooms, and bringing them in for a bouquet that you grew! Homegrown beauty all summer long!

Instead of offering cut flower packs this year, we are planning to do a plant sale the first weekend in June. We will have an assortment of filler, accent, and focal flowers to select from!

Come select from a variety of plants to build your own cut flower garden! More details will be posted soon!
