We had the joy of hosting the sweetest surprise birthday celebration! It was a beautiful fall evening filled with flowers, laughter, and a private bouquet-making experience. What a special way to celebrate, and what a joy to be part of it!

The morning sun is spectacular this time of year! I love how it washes over everything and highlights different aspects of the fields and garden.

While I love my “day job,” this view makes it really hard to leave in the morning!

What a night.

Farm to table. Field to fork. Pasture to plate.

Our dinner party turned out even better than we could have imagined. A beautiful table filled with homegrown goodness, delicious food, and even better people made for a night we won’t soon forget.

Chef Brooke Price absolutely showed off! Every plate was thoughtfully curated with flavors you simply cannot find anywhere near Eastern Oregon.

This meal was a family affair. From growing and harvesting, to setting the table, cooking, serving, and sitting down together at the end of the night, our family was involved in every part of it.

Seeing the long table full of people, plates being passed, conversations happening, and everyone going back for just one more bite made all the work worth it. These are the types of things that feed my soul in ways that nothing else can!

We’re already talking about next year, and if this dinner was any indication, you’re going to want to be at the table.

Reminiscing on one of the most amazing evenings we’ve ever hosted at the ranch, our Farm to Table Dinner Party! The entire evening was filled with moments I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.

Behind every one of my wild ideas is the most amazing husband who somehow always sees the vision, rolls with the crazy, and helps bring it all to life.

Thank you for believing in my dreams, even when they sound a little wild or sound a lot like hours of work. Thank you for building this life with me, for saying “let’s figure it out” instead of “that’s impossible,” and for being willing to take this journey together.

One crazy idea, one project, one adventure at a time.
