Local experts will offer sessions throughout the day on a variety of homesteading and small farm related topics. Join us and select your own learning adventure!
Your ticket will include:
- 6 learning sessions of your choice
- Opportunity to learn from local experts
- Printed and digital resources from each offered session
- Snacks and summer themed drinks throughout the day
- Catered lunch prepared by The Laurel
- Complete the day with connection hour from 4:00 -5:00 for all attendees and presenters.
Sessions will include a range of topics including: time saving strategies, sourdough for beginners to advance, composting, raising Kunekune pigs, pressure and hot water bath canning, food preservation strategies, resources available through USDA/NRCS, taking the leap from hobby to small business, beginning and intermediate garden planning and design, bee keeping, and few more sessions are still in the works! Final schedule will be available the day of the event.
Participants will enjoy a catered lunch prepared by The Laurel. There will be lots of beautiful spots to enjoy lunch. Feel free to bring a blanket if you’d like to find a spot for a picnic lunch or enjoy lunch while listening to a panel about “things I wish I would have know before I started.”
This event will require walking between sessions on uneven farm ground and on gravel roads. You will want to wear comfortable shoes and come prepared to walk.

No need to bring a printed ticket with you. We will have a list of online ticket purchasers available on the day of the event. Tickets are non-refundable.
